A Good Relationship Is Not a Performance Measure

A strong supplier relationship can make work easier. It becomes commercially credible when trust is supported by measurable outcomes - a defined promise, evidence that it happened, an agreed response and a decision.

Activity Is Not Value

Meetings, reports and initiatives can prove effort. Commercial value begins when that effort creates a useful change the organization can see, attribute and use - and that difference is easy to lose in a busy supplier relationship.
